The Cost and Joy of Following Jesus

He is risen! On this Resurrection Sunday, we are looking at Luke 9:51-62 in which Jesus is resolute and determined to go to Jerusalem to accomplish Him mission which He was sent by the Father to do--namely, to secure salvation for His true disciples. As He begins the journey to Jerusalem, Jesus informs some would-be followers about the cost of following Him. Which leads us all to ask ourselves, "Is Jesus worth it? It Jesus worth following? Or is following Him too steep a cost?" My prayer is that you would see Jesus as absolutely worthy of devoting your whole life to and that you would joyfully follow Him all the days of your life.
