Repent Before It's Too Late

In today’s passage, Jesus addresses two tragic events that recently occurred. The crowd seemingly wants to know, “Why did these people die in these tragic ways? Was God judging them for some particular sin?” Jesus confronts their conclusion and then issues an important command, which is reiterated in the parable that follows. As we unpack the passage, we’ll consider the error from the crowd, Jesus’s command, and the implications for us today.
