Invitations and Excuses

In today's passage, Jesus is still sharing a meal with the religious leaders on a Sabbath day. Jesus tells the Parable of the Great Banquet. The parable very pointedly reveals what will happen to those who continue to reject God's invitation to His heavenly banquet. It also reveals who will and who will not get into God's banquet. After explaining the parable, we will also consider five implications from the parable for our lives.
