Impossible with Man, Possible with God

In today’s passage, Jesus interacts with a rich ruler who asks what he must do in order to inherit eternal life. Jesus’s response causes the ruler to fall into despair, but is informative for us today. Jesus then turns to His disciples and tells them something shocking: It’s impossible for man to save themselves, but what’s impossible with man is possible with God. As we look closely at this passage, we learn four important lessons.
